So it turns out that if you get something published about you online, other people might read it! Here’s some media about my little satellite I’m building.
I did an interview with a journalist from the ScienceNetwork Western Australia, which is a science website that is produced by Scitech ( for those outside the state, it’s a science and technology centre funded by the WA Govt) The interview was published online recently:
And from there, it was aggregated by the Phys.org website: http://phys.org/news/2015-06-diy-satellite-backyard-orbit.html
Then the Inside Cover of the West Australian newspaper did a little piece on it, complete with a comic by Alston! ( picture when I can find a copy….)
And then I was contacted by ABC Radio for an interview! Here’s the link to the segment, and an article on the ABC website (complete with bad photo).
To be continued…..
Exciting stuff Stuart! I think the recognition of what you are doing and a greater public image of just how much can be achieved “in the back shed” is a great thing.
Here is a link to Stuarts go fund me campaign for launching his backyard wonder. http://www.gofundme.com/ozqube1
That’s awesome. Well done Stuart !
